Book a tour

How can I book a virtual tour?
Choose the tour you like on our homepage or on the page virtual tours. Choose an available date in the calendar rand press the button Book Now. In your cart you see the tours you booked or you can add tours. Click on ‘proceed to checkout’. Fill in your billing details and ‘Place order’ You will receive a confirmation e-mail with more information about how to join the tour.
How long does a tour last?
Depending on the tour, a tour lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
Can I chat with my host in advance?
At the moment this is not possible yet, but you can communicate by chat with MyNepal.online, if you have any questions about the tour. You will find the chat box on the website.
How long in advance do I have to book a tour?
You can book a tour up to 48 hours before the start of the tour.
Where can I find my booking?
You will receive a confirmation by email, ensure you keep this email. If you have not received an email confirmation after your booking, please contact us by email or chat.

Cancellation or rescheduling my virtual tour

How can I cancel my booking?
We are sorry to hear that you can not join. Please send an email to info@mynepal.online with the details of your booking. If you cancel 7 days or more before the original date of the virtual tour, you receive a credit voucher for the full value of the payment. You can choose when you would like to join a tour again. If you choose to cancel the booking less than 7 days before the original date, you will not receive a refund. Check also the Terms & Conditions.
How do I reschedule my booking?
Until 48 hours before the start of the virtual tour, it is possible to reschedule the reservation. To reschedule your reservation, send an email with your booking details to info@MyNepal.online. You will receive a credit voucher with the amount of the tour you booked. You can book the same tour or another tour with a new date. Use the voucher code during the billing process.

What kind of computer and software do I need to join a tour?
You can join a tour on your laptop, PC, smartphone or tablet. Depending on the tour you book, you will join a Facebook group or a Zoom meeting. For joining a Facebook group you need a Facebook account. You can join a Zoom meeting on your browser or you can download the Zoom app on your laptop, phone or tablet. Also, you need a stable WiFi connection.
How do I join a Zoom meeting?
Zoom is an online platform for meetings. If you use your computer, you do not need to download or install software. You need a stable internet connection. If you use a tablet or phone, you need to download the app. You can test Zoom here: https://zoom.us/test.
How do I communicate with my host during the tour?
On Facebook and on Zoom you will have the option to ask your questions by chat with your host. He will answer your questions.
How do I prepare for my cooking class?
After your booking confirmation you will receive an e-mail with instructions about what ingredients you need and what to prepare in advance.
During the tour I lose connection with my host, what should I do?
If the connection is lost, due to a Wifi disconnection in Nepal, please wait and we will try to start up to tour again. If the connection is lost due to your own unstable WiFi connection, try to reconnect.

Payment

How and when do I pay the tour?
When you make a booking, you pay the full amount in advance. You can pay by credit card or by withdrawal from your bank account. So ensure you have your bank details ready when you book the virtual tour.
My host canceled the booking, how do I receive my money back?
You will receive an email with an offer for a new date. If you are not able to join the tour on the rescheduled date reply to us by email or chat. You will receive a full refund. While the refund is immediately on our side, it may take up to 10 working days to show up in your account due to the processing time between banks. If you can join on the proposed new date, please confirm by email or chat and we will book you in for the new date. You will receive a confirmation.
How much money of price I pay goes to the host?
The host receives 57% of the total amount. And 20% of the amount goes to the community fund. Check also our page about the impact.
