By joining a virtual tour you support the local community, while you are experiencing Nepal and learning more about the Nepalese culture.
The travel world is slowly opening up again. In many places, tourism is picking up. During the last 12 months, the hosts of MyNepal.online have taken you on a virtual trip to Nepal during the corona pandemic. We have achieved a great result. Our hosts have been able to provide an income for themselves and their community. Slowly travel restrictions to visiting Nepal are being lifted. It is therefore time to focus on welcoming guests ‘live’ in Nepal.

Sonja Rusticus and Budhi Darlami are living in West Nepal where they run their own guesthouse Bardia Homestay and organize jungle, countryside tours and treks. Helmich Riezebos is owner of a tour operator travel Nepal in the Netherlands and organizes custom made journeys to Nepal for Dutch travelers.
For many years we have been working together to give our mutual customers a unique travel experience in Nepal, and to share our knowledge and passion about Nepal. We deeply care about the future of the local people and the communities in Nepal with whom we co-operate.
Due to the corona pandemic, international travel to Nepal came to a standstill and many people who are working in the tourism sector in Nepal (almost 1,3 million people) have lost their jobs. Usually no job means: no income.
Therefore MyNepal.online connected last year Nepalese tourist guides online with travelers who felt connected with or wanted to experience Nepal virtually. We offered virtual tours and classes to travelers who wanted to learn more about the nature and culture of Nepal and who felt committed to support the local people and community. Local hosts were happy to share their knowledge and generate some income during the corona pandemic. We succeeded in our mission!
